how do i remove a system manager application off my phone. It will not uninstall

I have tried several times to uninstall and it will not. There is a pink gear like symbol that says system manager application next to it. My AVG antivirus found the threat. It also says that it is malware. Do you know what this is and how to get it off of my phone? and i also have tried to remove it with other antivirus applications and none of them are working. Please help me. Tanks

Plug your phone into a computer and uninstall it.
