how do I clear the cache from my windows 8 smartphone?

How can I clear the cache from my windows 8 smartphone? The brand name of the phone is Huawei it is using data like crazy and I would like to be able to clear the cache so it will not start slowing down. I've only had the phone for 2 weeks and already it is showing more than 1.0 G used! Do I have to get an app to clean my phone daily?
