How to check messages on UA2020EB?

American Telecom cordless phone model UA2020EB is being used as an extension. The display no longer displays characters, only the backlight works.  After years of use the message waiting light started blinking. How are messages accessed?  Is a manual available?  It would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Simply follow the instructions to access your volice mail from your service provider.
