sonny ericsson Hpm 82 handfree cannot connect with my satio u1 phone. pls help me

sony ericsson hand free modle hpm82 can't connect my phone which is sony ericsson satio u1.  when i  pluged handsfree jack in mobile, mobile deduct and show on display (Hpm 82)  for  a few second, after this he lost him/ he cannot connect. pls help me
