How do I reset my password on my asus x551ca?

I just got my notebook (asus x551ca) set the password a few days ago and forgot it. When I hit reset password it tells me to inset a USB drive. When I insert the free PNY 8GB USB drive that came with my computer it tells me "this disk is not a password reset disk" I need to reset my password or somehow reset the computer to factory settings. It's brand new I have no info on it or USB drive. Please help!
