my esa pdp4294lv will not turn on

My ESA PDP4294LV which I bought in 2004 has worked up until this morning.  It won't turn on.  I have tried changing batteries in remote control, and using the tv's built in manual on/off and no longer responds.  I have checked ALL the cables and power cords behind the tv and all is well.  Can it have just died?  What can I do now?
