How to Name a Flash Drive

The flash drive I am using shows up on my computer directory as ScanDisk.  I want to rename it. How do I rename the drive to what I want (when I use the rename function from the right click menu, the rename process fails. That is, the name remains the same).

In Windows explorer, right click on the drive and choose "Rename"
