how do I delete downloaded files

I can't delete the downloads.

You can either go to where you downloaded them and delete them by right clicking and selecting delete, you also will want to empty your recycle bin after. If it's a program then you can go to control panel, add or remove program and uninstall it

Just simply hold/long press the file you want to delete then the option/selection will pop-up quickly.
