i tryed to format it but it shows an error saying it can not accept the OS unless i have enabled  disk controller on my BIOS menu.

When you first start your computer you should have an option to enter the bios.  Be careful, you can really mess things up if you don't know what you are doing.  You should be able to add the hard drive as a primary or secondary drive in the bios settings.
