It was acting weird a windows 8.1 update was available in the store app after that it messed up so i tried to refresh it but it didn't work so i tried to reset

Make note of the exact pattern of the beeps. Also make note of the type of BIOS such as Phoenix or Award.

Then search for the BIOS brand and "beep codes". That will tell you what the problem is. Alternatively, contact Gateway support.
